Pastel Art for Kids is a free art program for underprivileged kids, teaching art in a fun way using dry pastels. Our goal to provide effective art instruction so kids can express their imagination and creativity and become more confident in their artistic abilities. We are teaching classes for four consecutive weeks throughout July in three venues: Boys and Girls Club in Santa Ana, and Jamboree Housing’s Granite Court and Montecito Vista, and our goal is to teach at least 30 kids total. At the end of the program, we will hold an exhibit where the kids’ art will be displayed and a raffle for prizes like art supplies will be held for the children.

We are excited that you would like to volunteer for Pastel Art for Kids! With the help of wonderful student teachers like you, we can ensure that every child has a mentor who will guide them through the learning process.
